Power of Nature: using electricity
This program encourages students to think about where their energy comes from. Through a collaborative exercise students will debate the pros and cons of different energy sources. Students will use watt meters to test how much energy is consumed by various appliances, learn how energy is measured, and discover ways to reduce their energy footprint.
Length: 1 hour
Maximum capacity limit: 30 students

Required Resources:
- Acess to electrical appliances to test (ie. laptops, chargers)
- 5-6 tables or desks for collaborative activity
- Smart board or multimedia projector with a computer
