International Women's Day and Sustainability

March 8th is International Women's Day! Use this opportunity to celebrate women by supporting local businesses run by women, such as The Apothecary in Inglewood, and local organizations, such as Green Calgary, that are run by women.

It's also a good reminder that climate change disproportionately affects women worldwide, so supporting women is another way of supporting the environment, particularly supporting women in leadership roles, women's education, and preventing women's poverty.
