What is Giving Tuesday?

You have probably heard about Black Friday and Cyber Monday. These commercial holidays created by marketing companies make it seem as if this season is about aggressive consumerism and material gifts.
Giving Tuesday is the complete opposite. This coming Tuesday, people around the world will join the movement to support volunteerism and philanthropic giving. We are inviting you to pause and reconnect with the good things about this season: generosity, kindness, and community.
