Mafe Barrera

Mafe's passion for environmental conservation began in Colombia, where she studied environmental remediation and participated in sustainability-focused clubs and events. After moving to Canada, she continued working towards a greener future in various ways. Homeschooling her children led her to discover a love for teaching, and now she enjoys inspiring kids to care for the planet. She is deeply committed to sharing her knowledge and passion for nature with the next generation. In her free time, she stays active with sports like volleyball, squash, soccer, Pilates, and yoga.
