Virginie Fournier

Virginie Fournier, MSc, CFRE, is a fundraising and strategic partnerships leader with more than 10 years of experience in marketing and communications in the private sector, in addition to her extensive experience within the non-for-profit sector since dedicating her career to that space. She holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Communications and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
Originally from France, Virginie has called Calgary home since 2014 and is passionate about strengthening the community where she lives, works and raises her family. Her experience in corporate partnerships, fundraising, marketing, communications, and community engagement allows her to bring a strong business and relationship-building perspective to her role on the Green Calgary Board. She is particularly passionate about creating meaningful community impact and supporting organizations that inspire people to build a more sustainable and resilient Calgary.
Outside of work and volunteering, Virginie is kept busy raising her two young boys, who remind her every day of the importance of creating a healthy, vibrant community for future generations.
