Rajeeve Thakur is Vice President, Regulatory Affairs of the TMX Group. In this role, he advises TMX Group's business units on regulatory issues that arise out of operations and strategic business initiatives, and those that may impact the broader capital markets. Throughout his career, he has held various positions with regulators and regulated entities, including Associate General Counsel of the Alberta Securities Commission and General Counsel and CCO of ICE NGX, a commodities derivatives exchange and clearinghouse. He started his legal career practicing Canadian and then US securities law.
