Waste in our World - Grade 4

The Waste in Our World workshop is a one-hour fun and interactive in-class presentation delivered by Green Calgary. The presentation covers types of waste produced by human activity, alternative methods of disposal (reuse, recycling, and composting), waste reduction, the impacts of different types of packaging, making informed consumer choices and taking actions as individuals and groups to reduce waste.

Target audience:

  • Grade 2 students
  • 1 class per workshop for optimum learning achievemen

How schools can participate:

The cost for workshops is $75.00
In the past we have offered discounts for multiple presentations on the same day. With the rising costs of operating the Education program, in lieu of raising our prices we have opted to no longer offer discounts. 
Some subsidies for presentations may be available. If you feel your school may qualify for a subsidy, please email us with further details.
