School Programs

Green Calgary is pleased to offer schools and youth organizations opportunities for environmental education.

• First Calgary Financial Water for Life- Grade 2
  
• Waste in our World - Grade 4
• HSBC Clean Air Achievers (FREE!) - Grade 5-9 only & Air Aware (FREE!) Grade 6-12 only

Cost

The cost for workshops is $75.00
In the past we have offered discounts for multiple presentations on the same day. With the rising costs of operating the Education program, in lieu of raising our prices we have opted to no longer offer discounts. 
Some subsidies for presentations may be available. If you feel your school may qualify for a subsidy, please email us with further details. 

Both Clean Air Champions program are offered FREE of charge

Notes

• Subsidies are available for some programs.
• Green Calgary accepts 50% Calgary Dollars for payment.
• Cancellations must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance or the full presentation fee will apply.

Become an Idle Free School

Sign up to be an Idle Free School. Decals are provided to schools free of charge and can be used to raise funds for metal Idle Free Zone signs

Just for Teachers

We offer workshops just for teachers that can be delivered on professional days or as part of a staff meeting. Try our Green Cleaning, EcoDecision Making or Waste at Home workshops.
