Green Calgary

Sustainability Series & Workshops for Individuals

The Healthy Homes Sustainability Series is a monthly event aimed at engaging Calgarians in making our city a healthy and more vibrant place to call home. It offers past Healthy Homes participants a chance to engage outside of the home - in the community, while offering others an exciting opportunity to learn about positive, action-oriented solutions for many of our environmental woes.

In the past we have offered workshops on indoor composting, turning lawn into a vegetable garden, extending the growing season, and food preservation, to name a few. We will continue to offer interesting and, often, hands-on workshops to those who want to make a positive and lasting impression on this great city!
