Volunteers extend Green Calgary's reach in the Community!
Our volunteers provide the passion and enthusiasm that enables Green Calgary to empower Calgarians to create healthy homes and communities .
Skilled and committed volunteers represent Green Calgary at public events, provide administrative assistance, educate Calgarians in the EcoStore, facilitate environmental education presentations, provide IT support, research and write for our different programs, and help out with annual celebrations and fundraisers.
Green Calgary's timely and effective programs support Calgarians of all ages in the creation of an environmentally clean and healthy community. Our roster of programs is a dynamic one, with new programs being added and old ones expanded as the environmental needs and interests of Calgarians evolve. All of the Green Calgary programs rely on vibrant volunteers.

STEPS TO BECOMING A GREEN CALGARY VOLUNTEER
Please note that our volunteer program is almost fully subscribed at the moment. If you'd like your name to be kept on file to be contacted as opportunites arise, feel free to continue with the steps below.
If you have frequent daytime, weekday availability and are interested in committing to weekly or bi-weekly regular shifts for at least the next 6-months, feel free to read on and contact us to engage as an EcoStore Educator, a Waste Assessor or a Healthy Homes volunteer
1. Complete and submit this 'I am interested!' form
2. Following receipt of your form, we will contact you to arrange a phone or in-person interview.
3. Join us for a training session in the program area that best fits your skills, interests and availability.
Plesae note that most of ourbecause of significant interest in our programs, it can take up to 3 weeks to respond to interested volunteers. Thanks in advance for your patience, and we look forward to connecting with you!
