Launch Day

Thank you Calgary!!!
 

On March 17, 2009, Green Calgary launched our Idle Free Calgary campaign. The goal of our campaign is to raise awareness about the wastefulness of idling, the health impacts of idling and the costs to drivers and businesses of idling. On our launch day, we caught people being Idle Free, and rewarded them with an ultra removable window decal for being part of positive change in our city.

A special thanks to Ernest Manning High School, Brookfield Properties - Banker's Hall, Mount Royal College and Calgary Transit for supporting our intiative.
