Join master gardener and organic market gardener, Elaine Rude, to learn how to grow vegetables successfully in Calgary.  Elaine has extensive experience with hardy varieties of vegetables, native plants, water-wise food gardening and high-yield intensive vegetable planting methods.

This workshop is designed for people new to growing vegetables and covers garden preparation, soil amending, getting the most from your garden and individual vegetable varieties that thrive in Calgary.

Sunday March 7th, 2010 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Held at the Calgary Unitarian Church, 1703 1st Street NW
Suggested Donation of $5.00 per participant; Refreshments will be served.
