Commercial Organic Waste Solutions
Thursday, February 11, 2010 - 9 am to 12 pm
Organic waste has been a tough issue for Calgary businesses to tackle over the years, with few options other than adding the waste to their dumpsters. But as more solutions have begun to surface in the last few years, and with tipping fees on the rise, Green Calgary would like to highlight and explore what options are now available to the commercial sector for responsible organic waste disposal in our upcoming Commercial Organic Workshop.
This workshop is tailored towards commercial organic waste generators such as food distribution centers, grocery stores, property managers, restaurants, coffee shops and cafeterias as well as haulers interested in getting more information on the logistics and issues around organic waste hauling.

Doug Wilson, University of Calgary
Blaine Armstrong, PEL Recycling
Rob Morphew, Calgary Co-operative Association Ltd.
Don Francis, Waste Management
Neil Wiens, Bio Cycle Nutrient Solutions Ltd.
