Sustainability for Breakfast!
Come join us to start your day right with breakfast and a stimulating discussion at the EcoStore!
Who: All individuals, organizations and businesses with an interest in advancing sustainability in Calgary are welcome!
Why: Calgary is at a defining moment in its history. The choices we make today will shape our city and region for decades. Those choices can increasingly promote and accelerate sustainability, or they can perpetuate business as usual – and the missed opportunities for innovation and lack of resilience that go with it. The breakfast series is intended to:
• Bring people together, including unlikely allies
• Provide a forum for introductions and networking
• Explore key questions on topics central to sustainability in Calgary
• Create space for idea generation and synergies that could lead to innovative action
This networking breakfast series is hosted by Monica Pohlmann, Principal, Monica K Pohlmann & Associates and Rob Abbott, CEO, Abbott Strategis, and has grown out of conversations stimulated by the Gaining Ground Sustainable Urban Development Leadership Summits (http://www.gaininggroundsummit.com).
The event is free of charge and breakfast is served!
