Utilize every drop of water with Model A. This 45 gallon barrel comes with a Water Saver Diverter Kit and hose that you install into your downspout. Once the barrel is full, water will fill the hose with back pressure water and be directed back down the downspout. The lid is completely sealed, and it is easy to disconnect the barrel from the diverter in the winter to avoid frozen water cracking or warping your barrel. Model A barrels are designed to be attached to a second barrel (optional).

These barrels are reused food grade barrels. We’ve saved them from the landfill and retrofitted them into rain barrels. They can be painted but we recommend that you sand the outside of your barrel first. We also recommend raising your rain barrel so that you may fit a watering can under the tap. You may use cinder blocks or purchase one of our locally made rain barrel stands.
